Washington [US], March 27 (ANI): US President Donald Trump on Wednesday (local time) endorsed three US Senators up for re-election, praising their loyalty and aligning their efforts with his agenda under the rallying cry, they 'WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN.'
Taking to social media platform Truth Social, Trump first lauded Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, writing, 'Senator Lindsey Graham is working incredibly hard for the Great People of South Carolina... Lindsey has been a wonderful friend to me and has always been there when I needed him.'
He highlighted Graham's role as Senate Budget Committee Chair, emphasising his focus on economic growth, tax cuts, border security, and Second Amendment rights, adding, 'Lindsey Graham has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election -- HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN.'
Next, Trump endorsed Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, calling her 'an America First Warrior' and noting her work as Chair of the Senate Banking Subcommittee on Digital Assets. 'Cynthia is working closely with me to make America the Crypto Capital of the World,' Trump stated, crediting her efforts to boost the economy, cut regulations, and prioritise farmers, ranchers, and energy producers.
'Senator Cynthia Lummis has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election - SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!' he declared.
Finally, Trump praised Senator Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, a long-time ally and former Ambassador to Japan, stating, 'Bill is doing a fantastic job... helping us MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.'
He spotlighted Hagerty's work on revitalising the economy, securing the border, and restoring energy dominance, concluding, 'Senator Bill Hagerty has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election - HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!'
The endorsements underscore Trump's push to rally support for his allies ahead of next year's elections.
Earlier, Senator Graham also backed President Trump and his senior security advisors amid the breach of sensitive information related to a strike plan in Yemen, saying that it was a 'lesson learned.' (ANI)
