New Delhi [India], April 21 (ANI): United States Vice President JD Vance, currently on a four-day visit to India, visited the Central Cottage Industries Emporium in New Delhi on Monday along with his family.
While at the Emporium, Showroom GM Meera Somani told ANI that the family 'Really enjoyed and they appreciated our showroom. They purchased pottery and papier-mache items, and teas...'
Store Manager Vinay Agrawal told ANI, 'We are very thrilled and happy that, along with the family, they visited here. They bought some papier-mache items, small gift items for the kids and some brass items...They visited all the counters in the showroom. Central Cotton Industry is one of the temples of art and craft. It is not an ordinary shop. The Central Cotton Industry is a very big organisation in Asia. She (Usha Vance) really liked the art and craft...'
Showroom Manager Meetu Wazirani, while speaking to ANI, noted, 'This is a handloom handicraft emporium. They liked everything... they spent almost 40-45 minutes. They bought tea, honey, papier-mache items, wooden items and pottery. And they really appreciated the goods. They were very humble and soft-spoken... She (Usha Vance) bought whatever the kids said...'
As per their website, the Central Cottage Industries Emporium is the India's window to the world for nearly over 60 years for authentic handloom and handicraft products.
The Emporium stands tall helping India and the world, access to the finest crafts with an assurance of authencity, beauty and value, setting standards in aesthetics and design.

The website further noted that the emporium has promoted Handicrafts and Handlooms on multiple fronts.
Envisaged as a showcase of the creations of Indian craftsmen, weavers, and folk artists, the Central Cottage Industries Emporium has been a favourite with customers in India and the World over.
During his four-day visit to the country, Vance is scheduled to travel to Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra. He will visit Jaipur on Tuesday and Agra on Wednesday. The visit is seen as an important step in boosting the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. (ANI)
