Megan Keller collected a goal and two assists to lift the United States to a 5-0 victory over Finland on Saturday in a Group A game of the preliminary round in the Milan Cortina Olympics.
Abbey Murphy and Taylor Heise each had one goal and one assist, and captain Hilary Knight scored in her second straight game to tie Natalie Darwitz and Katie King for the US team record with 14 Olympic goals.
Knight, a five-time Olympian, scored from just inside the goal line to give the Americans a 4-0 lead at 9:17 of the second period.
Alex Carpenter also tallied and Laila Edwards notched two assists for the Americans (2-0-0), who improved to 11-0 all-time against Finland in women's hockey.
Aerin Frankel made 11 saves to pick up the win in her second straight game.
Sanni Ahola turned aside 44 shots for the Finns (0-1-0), who saw their first game against Canada on Thursday postponed due to a norovirus outbreak that depleted their roster.
